- The supermarket’s subscription programs tied to their loyalty programs (Coles Plus and Woolworths Everyday Extra) deliver 4% of company revenue despite low membership while Qantas has devalued points redemptions by up to 20%.
- Retail Media Networks are growing including Woolworths' Cartology ($550m, growing at 34% CAGR), Coles 360 ($250m), Chemist Warehouse's Strat ($600m), and newcomers CommBank Connect (with 2,000 digital screens) and Bunnings' Hammer Media launching.
New Zealand
- Z Energy launched its new app-based Z Rewards program replacing Pumped and Qantas is aggressively targeting Air New Zealand's top-tier Airpoints members with fast-track Gold status offers.
