Ellipsis Consultant

Key Responsibilities 

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver transformational loyalty solutions. As a key member of our consulting team, you'll take ownership of project deliverables from data analysis through to strategic recommendations, working directly with the Ellipsis senior team and client stakeholders. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, creative problem-solving and client management skills. You'll leverage our proprietary Customer Science® methodologies and frameworks while building your expertise as a loyalty specialist.

  • Consulting Engagements 
    • Taking responsibility for producing high quality project deliverables. This includes strong ability to create presentation materials that tell a strategic story.
    • Understanding the client situation and actively participating in client-facing activities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and ensure deliver on time and scope. e.g. project coordination, project and meeting management
    • Ability to apply Ellipsis IP and frameworks (e.g. Return on Loyalty®, Value Proposition Canvas and more) to deliver high quality outcomes for our clients
    • Clearly communicate and apply loyalty concepts in client contexts, for example, translating loyalty strategy into actionable customer journeys or program designs

  • Insights and Modelling 
    • Developing, interpreting and presenting business insights
    • Conducting detailed data analysis and financial modelling
    • Conducting research and assembling best practices and innovations using Ellipsis IP
    • Collaborating with other members of the Ellipsis team to integrate insights into the wider engagement structure and storyline


  • Business Development 
    • Helping to develop proposals, promote new Ellipsis services, nurture relationships with prospective clients and manage the sales pipeline
    • Supporting marketing activities e.g. events, publications, blog posts, LinkedIn activity to build our loyalty profile and your personal brand

  • Knowledge development 
    • Working knowledge of loyalty market, principals and technology
    • Keeping up to date on market trends and developments
    • Supporting continual development of Ellipsis’ proposition and build on Ellipsis IP
    • Be a world-class loyalty expert through being abreast of industry and program developments



Your Skills and Experience

We base our recommendations on extensive expertise in the industries we serve, balancing creativity with data insights in our strategy development. Our consultants are curious, data-drive problem solvers.

1. Technical & experience

  • Strong academic qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in strategy consulting, customer strategy, loyalty or related disciplines
  • Proven track record managing clients and project deliverables
  • Experience with the application of problem-solving and structuring techniques (e.g. First Principles Thinking, Hypothesis Based Problem Solving, the Pyramid Principle)
  • Proficient at data analysis and financial modelling
  • Experience producing high quality client presentations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable managing demands and expectations of internal and client stakeholders

  • Self-motivated, self-driven, highly responsible mindset
  • Good planning and prioritisation skills
  • Positive and creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure, with consistent attention to detail

3. Domain-specific (beneficial but not essential for candidate)

  • • Be an engaged member of Loyalty and Rewards programs with deep knowledge on how to get the most value out of them
    • Advanced proficiency in data modelling (e.g. advanced Excel, SQL, R/Python)
