Ellipsis Program / Project Manager

Our client list includes large retailers, banks, insurers, and global airlines. We have offices in Melbourne and Sydney, with clients in New Zealand, Asia and North America.


We are currently looking for a Program / Project Manager to join our team and help manage the successful delivery of Ellipsis loyalty projects. This role is open in both Melbourne and Sydney.

 

Your Responsibilities

Oversee the governance, effective management and execution of Ellipsis projects (client and internal) including resourcing planning and utilisation, project planning and management, time tracking and progress reporting. Ensure projects are successfully delivered on time, to agreed budget and Ellipsis standards.

  • Project Management Tool: Own the internal project planning and management tool. As the administrator, define, establish and maintain the processes and minimum requirements in using the PM tool for maximum effectiveness across the business.

  • Project Management Guidance: Support project leaders and cross-functional teams on project management disciplines. Provide training and support on PM tools and defined processes. This includes implementing best practice project and program management methodologies.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure expected practice standards are maintained around effective project and resource planning and management, time allocation, and project delivery.

  • Project Support: As required, provide support on some client projects e.g. project meeting management (agendas, project status reporting, action items) and help with stakeholder requests.

  • Project Status Reporting: Generate and deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting for stakeholders on project and program status to plan, including delivery timeline, resource commitment and budget.

  • Risk Management: Identify and proactively communicate risks across the program of work and projects. Own or support team members to develop and deliver on mitigation actions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Implement and advocate for continuous improvement processes, leveraging feedback to optimize operations and efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal program stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and decisions.

  • Budget & Resource Management: Monitor the program of work and project-specific budgets and resources, supporting the project team with the information required to ensure projects remain within financial constraints and deliver expected outcomes on time and within budget.

  • Knowledge Development: Keep updated on market trends and developments, and support continual development of Ellipsis' proposition and build on Ellipsis IP

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • 5 or more years of experience in program and project management

  • Strong academic qualifications

  • Solid experience in program and project management, using various PM tools, processes and applications

  • Experience using the Productive Software

  • Sound understanding of budgeting and resource allocation procedures

  • Strong knowledge of project management disciplines, including techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects and programs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrable experience in client-facing project management essential

  • Comfortable managing demands and expectations of both internal and client stakeholders
