What matters this month
Flight Centre Travel Group has launched World360 Rewards, a loyalty program spanning flights, hotels, cruises, tours and 300 retail and lifestyle partners. Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Cruiseabout are Flight Centre Travel Group’s initial participating brands. Members earn points redeemable as full or partial payment for holidays including points-only deals through a Rewards Store. The program is free to join. A paid subscription tier (Member Plus - $249) includes 15,000 bonus points, airport lounge access, delay protection, a global eSIM and a choice of three additional bonus benefits.

Key metric of the month: Westpac delivered $159 million in rewards value to customers in the past 12 months.
Australia
Qantas introduced a $199 Frequent Flyer Extra subscription with Jetstar earning, raised Qantas Club fees, and maintained its $1B loyalty earnings target despite interchange reform.
Velocity added me&u restaurant earning and reported a 40% rise in non-air earning activity.
Myer auto upgraded 1.6 million members, OpenTable launched a new rewards model and ShopBack added receipt scanning for its 3.5 million members.
New Zealand
Air New Zealand will rebrand Airpoints as Koru, add a new top tier Koru Black and rename existing tiers.
Z Energy added New World Clubcard to enable an 8c-per-litre fuel discount, and FreshChoice joined Everyday Rewards for earn and redeem.
